Ft. warehouse, they partner with over 50 manufacturers and distributors nationwide to market their inventories of stocked, overstock, and discontinued surfacing materials & related products.

 

Their customers are from all walks of life: Contractors for many industries, including building, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and education. Mid- to large-size certified fabricator or repair shops. Small- to medium-size cabinet shops or other small businesses with a use for solid surface (i.e.) signmakers. DIY homeowners and woodworkers.

Though there are various range of decorative products solidsurface.com deals, one obstacle they had was customers seeking more specifications on vanity tops. The buyers were asking for customizable breadth and width which would fit into the already existing spaces. Another complication was the group based pricing – various vanity tops possess several attributes (colors, sizes, specs, etc.) and the prices vary for each thing.

 

solidsurface.com wanted to collaborate with someone who knows inside out about providing an enriching e-shopping experience for customers with their sole aim to give customers a 3D previsualization of what their end product would look like.

Solution

Just like any other brand, solidsurface.com wanted to let out features that would make shoppers fully satisfied. The only way that is possible was by letting customers directly feel an online hands-on approach in the design process. This was how solidsurface.com decided to team with a SaaS-based platform, Productimize, as its custom configurator to enhance existing services. The very first thing we did was to make UI very simple to use. Later, we imbibed features that would let customers choose intricate details like – material and color, width and depth, sink quantity and type, where the faucet holes should be and sink positioning, the kind of edge customer needs.
